I really wanted the cheapest filter for my fridge, and here is why:

Tap water is fine, but my fridge makes Ice and chills the water. However, when the filter gets dirty it starts making the water smelly instead of cleaning it. I would prefer NO filter, but since that isn't an option the cheapest filter that works is the fit for me. It still uses carbon filtering so there is a lot of cleaning going on.
