Will give you a sharp edge!
I've used these types of sharpeners before and some of them can be to aggressive.
I tried this as soon as i got it on my filleting knife and also my Navy pocket knife.
A few swipes on the fine side brought my pocket knife right back to life.
My filleting knife was damaged some so i used the course side first and then the fine side and it did a pretty good job.
If you don't have the money to invest in top of the line sharpeners but you want something that will get you close then this is it.
For all you people that use products without reading the directions, (READ THE DIRECTIONS!)
Works great
I have been using this almost a year and it has been a great sharpener. Used mostly on kitchen knives.
Very stable on my countertop.
Although it is simple appearing I actually recommend you read the instructions as the two sharpening slots are not used identically.
Great knife sharpener
I use this sharpener to raise a quick edge on my leatherman and work knives as I watch TV.This sharpener will work great for anyone who wants a blade that cuts. A handy item on trips or camping. It evem comes in handy when visiting friends or relatives for dinner whose knives can't cut butter.
