A Requirement for Wood or Tile Floors
If you purchase the Miele Olympus vacuum, it comes with a combination carpet and bare floor attachment that is the master of neither. This separately sold attachment with the crenelated bristle pattern will pick up dust, debris, and dog hair better than other vacuum cleaners' attachments for bare floors. It is expensive, but durably constructed. You'll probably bite your lip ordering this, but over time, it will be worth the 'investment'.

I have a lot of hardwood floor to keep clean. This floor brush is a great accessory to use on hardwood floors. It swivels to get under furniture too. Worth the price to keep floors clean. Works beautifully!!
Better than the other one!
I like this attachment a lot better than the larger one that comes with the machine (the one that switches back and forth between hard floors and rugs)! I use it for both and find it does a better job, AND it's less cumbersome. It sure is pricey, but it seems quite sturdy, so I hope it will last a long, long time.
