Strong Enough and Very Quiet. Great Buy
No negatives at all with this fan.
It's low setting is a good low, medium a good medium and high is just the right high.
I replaced a Xtreme Orbital 16" fan with this one after only 4 months when the fan tilt lock broke and the place we bought it from is now out of business and the manufacturer will do nothing for us. So I looked around and knew I would never buy any Walmart type brands which is basically 90% of the affordable fan market. It was between an Eco brand and AirKing. Being I already have some smaller Airkings that work great I took a chance on this 16" osculating one.
No regrets. Whisper quiet, powerful enough to enjoy, average wattage/amp ratings and simple but solid wall mount system.
I may buy another soon.
Good Fan, Worth The Price
The fan works like it suppose to and does it good. There were complaints from other customers about vibration and noise. There is a humming noise while in oscillation mode but only when the blades get at the extreme ends of the turn, this is due to the air flow behind the fan when the blades get close to the wall and is common on wall mounted fans. The noise is something all fans make; anytime you have a turning object you will experience noise. That being said the noise isn't distracting but noticeable. Most of the fan is made from plastic but very solid, extremely difficult, if not impossible, to buy a metal fan for this price. All said and done this is a good fan and I am considering purchasing another one.
Works fine
Keeps the room cool. That's the main purpose. Mounts solidly to the wall. My only concern is that you can really hear the fan from the other rooms in my house, the entire wall vibrates.
